We design Slater to safely host and deliver your JavaScript to Webflow with clear controls for staging and production. Below is what we handle and how.
Data we process
- Code: The JavaScript you create in Slater to run on your Webflow site
- Project metadata: Project names, environment settings, and publishing state
- Integration data: The single script reference used by Webflow to load your code
- AI assistance: When you invoke AI features, prompts and the code you include may be sent to trusted model providers to generate suggestions
We do not access your live Webflow site content beyond what’s required to load your hosted script in the browser.
Storage and transmission
- Transport: Encrypted with HTTPS in transit
- At rest: Stored with provider-level encryption where available
- Access: Limited to authorized personnel for support and operations
- Retention: You can delete projects; residual backups may persist for a limited period before permanent removal
Publishing controls and safety
- Environment-aware delivery: Publish to staging (webflow.io) or production independently
- Rollback: You can revert by republishing a prior version or disabling the script reference in Webflow if needed
AI model providers
- Scope: Only the text/code you include in prompts is sent for processing
- Exclusions: We do not send your Webflow credentials or private account data
- Choice: If your policy restricts third-party AI processing, you can limit or avoid AI features in Slater
Vulnerability reporting and reviews
- Security reviews: We support security questionnaires and procurement reviews on request
- Responsible disclosure: Please report potential issues privately; we’ll acknowledge and work to resolve promptly
Compliance posture
We have not publicly announced formal compliance certifications. If you require a DPA, SOC report, or specific attestations, contact us and we’ll provide the latest documentation available.
